Real Sociedad defeated its host Granada by three goals to two goals today in the meeting that brought them together in the sixth round of the Spanish first division football competition.
Jerman Sanchez opened the scoring for Granada in the 9th minute and equalized for Real Sociedad Artez Illustondo in the 52nd minute, before Mikel Moreno scored the second goal for the visitors in the 60th minute.
Luis Milla scored the equalizer for the hosts from a penalty kick in the 70th minute, while Real Sociedad's third goal came through Artiz Illustondo in the 83rd minute.
With this victory, Real Sociedad raised its score to 13 points, occupying third place in the Spanish league standings, while Granada's balance stopped at the third point, occupying 18th place.
