The crew of SpaceX's Inspiration4 mission shared the first images from space.

Inspiration4, the first all-tourist-manned orbital flight, successfully took off on September 15 from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Brevard County, Florida.

The trip will last three days where the crew will orbit Earth every 90 minutes along a custom 575 km flight path.

The Inspiration4 crew is made up of billionaire Jared Isaacman, 38;

Hayley Arceneaux, a 29-year-old cancer survivor;

Sian Proctor, a 51-year-old geologist and educator;

and Chris Sembroski, 42, who won his spot through a raffle.

The Inspiration4 mission aims to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

"The goal of Inspiration4 is to inspire humanity to support St. Jude here on Earth and at the same time see new possibilities for manned spaceflight," Isaacman said when the mission was announced in March. Founder and CEO of Shift4 Payments is funding the multi-million dollar trip to space.

On Friday morning, the St. Jude Twitter account uploaded a video with Arceneaux - who works as a medical assistant at St. Jude, the hospital where she was treated - showing the spectacular view from the Dragon's dome, "the largest window into space ever. "

Over the course of six months, the crew completed a series of trainings, including simulations of the Dragon spacecraft, trainings in a reduced gravity aircraft and medical tests, in order to prepare these four civilians - inexperienced as astronauts - for their space travel.

"This intensive and focused preparation was essential in helping four different strangers grow into their new roles as the first all-civilian astronaut crew to orbit Earth," SpaceX said in a statement.
