(ANSA) - MADRID, JUN 13 - The three main Spanish right-wing parties have joined a protest - called by a civic platform in Madrid - against the possible granting of the pardon by the Spanish government of Pedro Sánchez to the independent leaders of Catalonia condemned for the attempted secession of the region in 2017.

Sánchez himself has clearly opened up to this possibility.

The location of the event is the Piazza di Cristoforo Colombo, a traditional meeting place for right-wing formations.

According to sources of the National Police consulted by the press agency Europa Press, at least two thousand people are already present in the square.

The organizers ask to respect the social distancing to avoid Covid contagion.
