Spain will impose a ten-day quarantine on travelers from Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia and Namibia from July 27, as a new measure to combat coronavirus infections. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - MADRID, JUL 24 - Spain will impose a ten-day quarantine on travelers from Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia and Namibia from July 27, as a new measure to combat coronavirus infections. This was announced by the government, adding that the isolation could be reduced to seven days if a traveler is negative on the week, as explained in a note from the Ministry of Health.


    The decree will come into force for an initial period of 14 days and will be extendable. To curb the spread of new coronavirus variants, Spain also continues to impose a ten-day quarantine for travelers from India and restricts flights from Brazil and South Africa to its citizens. (HANDLE).
