Physical strength sports champion Natali Elias possesses strong will and high skills that made her overcome her physical handicap and achieve local, Arab and Asian achievements to prove that she is a gold champion, winning dozens of gold medals during her sports career since the end of the 1990s until now.
In an interview conducted by the SANA Sports Bulletin, Elias explained that her physical disability does not constitute an obstacle for her, which prompted her to practice the sport of physical strength after the encouragement and support of her family, and thanks to them she was able to gain self-confidence, which generated a great incentive to explode her potential energies to show her talent and skills in the game through her progressive development and the achievements made I achieved it at the local level.
Elias said that she started her sports career 24 years ago in the private gymnasium at Al-Basil Stadium under the supervision of international coach Ammar Al-Sheikh, with many successes, achievements and titles at the level of local championships, so since her first participation in 1997, she achieved the title of the Republic Championship and maintained it until 2018.
Ilias added that she joined the ranks of the Syrian national team and had the honor to participate in the foreign tournaments for the first time in the Arab-African-Middle East Championship in 2003, which was held in Jordan. 2005 and 2007 and bronze in the International Fazza Championship in Dubai in 2005 and came sixth in the Asian Championships in Malaysia in 2006 and sixth in the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
Elias continued that she sought to develop and improve her level, so she was also able to raise the Syrian flag high during her participation in 2009 in the Asian Championships hosted by Malaysia and won first place and won the gold medal and won fourth place in the Asian Games in China in 2010 and despite the crisis that Syria went through, she continued her sporting activity and had honor. Representing the national team in the Jordan International Championship and winning the silver medal in 2011, fourth place in the Asian Championship hosted by South Korea in 2014, and the Bronze Age Fazza International Championship in 2015 and 2018.
Ilyas revealed that the tournaments and sporting activities stopped during the last period due to the Corona pandemic, but it returned again some time ago to resume training in the private sports hall under the supervision of coach Ammar Sheikh in order to be ready to participate in any external tournament and ready to compete and achieve an advanced position.
In turn, the Sheikh, the coach, confirmed that Natalie is one of the heroines who have achieved many achievements and possesses a steel will that appears during her training, indicating that she is a serious champion and determined to achieve more achievements in the future and her dream of obtaining an Olympic medal.
