The moderators and topics have changed, the approval ratings of the audience have remained almost the same: Scholz can also score the most in the last of three TV trialles.

The result looks familiar: As with the first two triallas, SPD chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz was able to convince most of the spectators in the third and final one week before the federal election.

That is the result of a survey by the opinion research institute Civey for SPIEGEL.

When asked "Who had the most convincing appearance in the› TV-Triell ‹from ProSieben, Sat.1 and Kabel Eins before the federal election?", 37 percent of those questioned named Scholz.

Armin Laschet was best received by 31 percent of those surveyed, Annalena Baerbock convinced 24 percent of the audience.

Eight percent of those questioned perceived the candidates as "roughly the same".

Only people who stated that they had seen the Trielli on Sunday evening were asked.

If you compare the approval ratings after this TV triall with the surveys after the previous triall, there are hardly any differences.

After the broadcast by ARD and ZDF last week, Scholz was ahead, Laschet also followed with 31 percent approval.

It was a small success for the Union's candidate for chancellor.

After all, Laschet and Annalena Baerbock did not convince most of the audience in the first meeting.

And while Scholz was already able to convince 37 percent of those surveyed in the triumph of RTL and n-tv, at that time only 25 percent of the audience found Laschet and Baerbock the strongest.

Laschet, Scholz and Baerbock only have a few days left to convince undecided voters.

There is a general election on September 26th.
