Sporting heroes in crisis: rain of money for 20 clubs

Sports clubs that showed particular commitment and solidarity during the Corona crisis can now hope for financial support.

District - Because the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV) is looking for 20 clubs with the campaign "Sports heroes in crisis", each receiving 3500 euros.

The campaign makes “FC Bayern Help” possible - or rather, the FCB fans. They can't go to the stadium because of the prescribed ghost games. Many of them did not reimburse ticket prices, the money is now being donated. “FC Bayern Hilfe” made 100,000 euros available to the BLSV. 30,000 euros will be used to promote young talent, the rest will go through the campaign to 20 clubs that have particularly stood out in the crisis.

A jury of the BLSV and the "FC Bayern Help" selects the winners. You will be honored with a virtual award ceremony on Saturday, July 18 - on that day, the BLSV celebrates its 75th anniversary.

Clubs belonging to the BLSV can take part in the campaign until July 5. For this they have to apply - and also present their project, if necessary with videos and photos. The necessary documents and further information can be found on the Internet at https://helden.blsv.de.
