Second division soccer club FC St. Pauli wants to make it back to the round of 16 of the DFB Cup for the first time in 15 years with a win at Dynamo Dresden today (6.30 p.m. / Sky).
The last time the Hamburg team succeeded in doing this was in the 2005/06 season, when they even reached the semi-finals and only failed at Bayern Munich.
Hamburg - St. Pauli coach Timo Schultz therefore sees the game as an almost historic opportunity.
The second division leader from Hamburg only won 3-0 against Dresden on October 3rd.
The last five league games have all been won.
Dynamo Dresden, on the other hand, can look back on three defeats in a row.
