The release of "Starfield" is delayed, but the decision of the developers is quite understandable.
The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are roughly on par in terms of performance.
But when it comes to games, Sony currently has the edge thanks to the many popular PlayStation exclusives.
“Horizon Forbidden West” was last released in February – meanwhile, Xbox owners are staring down the drain.
Of course, "Elden Ring" was also released this year, which puts most other games in the shade.
However, this is playable on multiple platforms.
Xbox fans were therefore particularly looking forward to "Starfield", which was supposed to be released in November 2022.
However, the game has now been postponed to the first half of 2023.

Such shifts are never pleasant - neither for the players nor for the developers.
In recent years, the studios have been overly optimistic in their planning and
ultimately have not been able to meet the intended release dates
.
But it's much worse to bring the game to the market, even though it's still not finished in many corners and ends - the most recent prime example of this is "Cyberpunk 2077".
Games journalist Jason Schreier explained on Twitter that he had spoken to some "Starfield" developers over the past year who were concerned about the release date being met.
They feared becoming
the "next cyberpunk"
.
This shows how much the reputation of CD Projekt RED, the studio behind "Cyberpunk 2077", has suffered due to the premature release.
Because of this, it is
the right decision on the part of Bethesda and Microsoft to delay Starfield
and make sure it comes out in its finished state.
Xbox fans should therefore remain patient.
