(ANSA) - TOKYO, APRIL 12 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the first session of the week with a plus sign, driven by the Dow Jones record Friday and by the encouraging news coming from the US vaccination campaign and the expectations of a faster recovery of the economy.
The Nikkei posted a gain of 0.31% at 29,859.30, adding 91 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the yen depreciates to 109.70 against the dollar and to 130.50 against the euro.
