The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has asked companies to reduce their flights scheduled for Friday between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. by 17% in the Paris region airports, Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly.
One in six planes will be affected by the stoppage of Aéroports de Paris (ADP) employees.
This Friday, the CGT, CFDT, FO, CFTC, Sud, Unsa, CFE-CGC and Solidaires unions called on all employees to mobilize.
"It's going to be an absolute mess," a CGT representative told us.
Already this Thursday, the management recommended the cancellation of 17% of the flights because of the strike of the firefighters employed by ADP.

The unions do not intend to let go before obtaining a general increase of at least 6%.
To calm things down, the management of ADP proposed this Thursday morning a 3% increase and the negotiation of a “dual status” for new hires.
Not enough to satisfy for the moment the interprofessional movement, which threatens to continue the strike this weekend.
Unless negotiations with management, still ongoing, are successful by then.
A first mobilization took place on June 9: that day, a quarter of the flights did not take off at Roissy.
