The metro and RER A will not be affected by the social movement, unlike buses, RER B and trams, according to the Ile-de-France management.

The announcement was awaited by users of Ile-de-France transport.

In a press release on Tuesday, the RATP unveiled its traffic forecasts for Thursday, September 29, marked by calls for a strike.

Overall, traffic will be only slightly disrupted.

The situation will be normal in the metro, and the RER A will not be affected either.

Conversely, RER B traffic will be “

disturbed with an average of 3 out of 4 trains

”.

The bus network will also be affected by the social movement, with two out of three buses and "

some very disrupted lines

".

For their part, the Noctilien lines will run without difficulty.

Finally, traffic on the tram network will be almost normal, with, on average, “

9 trams out of 10

”.

Only line T3a, which connects the Garigliano bridge to Porte de Vincennes, will stop at Porte d'Ivry, "

with 1 out of 2 trams

".

The Ile-de-France authority also specifies that it will give “

in real time, the most precise information possible to travelers

”, by deploying an “

important information plan

”.

The group invites its users to remain attentive, including to the Bonjour RATP application, or even to the lines' Twitter accounts, to find out about the state of traffic.

Thursday will be marked by mobilizations across France in favor of purchasing power and wage increases.

This will be the first major event of the new school year.

Organized by the CGT and the Union Syndicale Solidaires, these actions aim to fight against “

the pursuit of a policy which goes against the rights of workers, the possibility of having fair unemployment compensation

”.

A few weeks later, on October 16, the member parties of the Nupes will march in turn, alongside other organizations, on the occasion of a "

march against high cost of living and climate inaction

", on October 16 .

Without the unions, however, which remain attached to their independence vis-à-vis the political parties.
