Transport, schools, public services: different sectors are affected by this strike against the pension reform. Le Figaro takes stock.

Several unions have called for a day of mobilization, this Thursday, September 29, against the pension reform and in favor of the increase in wages.

Several sectors of activity will therefore be affected.

Le Figaro

takes stock of the disruptions that the French will encounter.

Disruptions in schools

Participation in the day of strikes and demonstrations promises to be quite high in the primary, according to the Snuipp-FSU, the first union of the first degree.

Nearly 20% will be on strike, with a strong disparity: 40% in Paris with 10% of schools closed, 48% in Seine-Saint-Denis.

In the Bouches-du-Rhône, 300 schools will be closed.

However, many preschools and primary schools will remain open.

Indeed, since 2008, a minimum service has been provided for, even in the event of a strike.

In addition, striking nursery and primary school teachers are required to declare themselves 48 hours in advance.

Many parents have therefore already been notified on Tuesday.

In college and high school, it is more complex to anticipate the extent of the movement.

Indeed, teachers are not obliged to declare in advance that they will strike.

But some teachers' unions have already announced their mobilization, such as the Snes FSU, which presents itself as the most representative union of the secondary sector.

The CGT des Services Publics also calls on the Atsem (territorial agents present in the classes of nursery schools) to move forward.

Services such as school catering, extracurricular activities and crèches could therefore be impacted.
