starred in headlines under painful circumstances, after most of the guardianship she conducted against her father was revealed.
Among other things, Spears told the court she was forbidden to marry or have children.
Now, after her father gave up and asked to be released and cease to be her guardian, the singer's partner jumped on the bargain - and offered her marriage.
Spears, 39, uploaded a short video to her Instagram video showing a glittering ring.

(27), her partner for the past five years and henceforth also her future husband.

The two met in 2016 on a set of photos for a Spears clip.
Asgari's personal manager told TMZ that the proposal took place at the two's home and they are very happy: "The couple have made their long relationship official today. They are amazed at the amounts of support and dedication and love they receive."
Spears was previously married to dancer
Kevin Federline
, as she gave birth to two sons.
Her resume also includes a flashback to a childhood friend named
Jason Alexander
, but they were canceled after 55 hours.
