The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda restored three wells to service in different areas, after completing the necessary maintenance and repair work.
The director of maintenance and investment in the corporation, Eng. Samih Nasr, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the wells returned to service are As-Suwayda 16, Salakhd 5, feeding parts of Shahba city and Barika 1 indicating that the density of each well is about 25 cubic meters per hour.
Engineer Nasr pointed out that the Corporation is currently working to repair Salakhd 9 well in order to restart it, and is also continuing to repair wells that fail based on the priorities set out of the urgent need for them.
The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda had restored the wells of Arman 5 and Rima Hazem 2 to service about two days ago.
