Syria's junior football team defeated its Kuwaiti counterpart, three goals to one, in a friendly match that brought them together today within its external training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
Kawa Issa scored two goals in the 23rd and 43rd minutes, and Hassan Mahmoud in the 62nd minute.
The camp of our national team comes under the leadership of its Dutch coach, Wilco van Buren, as part of its preparations for the Asian Cup qualifiers, which will be held early next month in Jordan.
Our team started its camp the day before yesterday, and witnessed the joining of the expatriate player Suleiman Ali, who plays in the German club Osnabrück. Before that, Muhammad Makhlouf, coming from Sweden, joined the group of players coming from the Damascus camp.
