If you were thinking of spending the holiday of Sukkot overseas, you should pay attention to the flight prices that jumped abnormally due to the high demand.
Tens of thousands of Israelis are expected to spend the holiday abroad, some of them bought tickets ahead of time at cheaper prices and some of them pay exorbitant prices in order to enjoy a vacation abroad.
In the inspection conducted by the "Israel Hayom" system, abnormal flight prices were found in the tourist class, for flights most of which also do not include luggage.
On the KLM flight to Amsterdam you will pay 1,716 dollars per passenger, which is more than 6,000 shekels.

El Al offers direct flights to Portugal for about 1,500 dollars, to Berlin (which is generally considered a cheaper destination) for more than 1,000 dollars, and to Barcelona in combined flights with Arkia for more than 1,300 dollars per person, all in economy class.
If you want to fly to Vienna, which is generally considered a cheap destination, you will have to pay no less than 1,342 dollars during the week of Passover with the Austrian airline "Austrian".
Flight prices are also similar when looking for flights to London, Paris, Rome and other Israelis' favorite destinations.
The dates tested are October 9-16, the week in which the Sukkot holiday is celebrated, during which the children are off - and so are many of the parents.
As mentioned, the high demand causes the flight prices to jump abnormally.
Just after Sukkot, flight prices to all those destinations are expected to drop by dozens of percent, so if you have the option to wait, it will allow you to save a lot of money.
