There is a collective agreement for the roughly 90,000 employees in the retail and mail order business in Schleswig-Holstein.
The trade union Verdi and the North Trade Association agreed on higher wages and salaries in their negotiations on Thursday, the union said.

From May 2022 on, all retail employees will receive a further 1.7 percent more money.
The apprenticeship allowances will increase by 30 euros on September 1st this year and next.
According to Verdi, the new collective agreement has a term of 24 months.
