At nearly 6 am today (27th), two men and two women passed through the junction of Shanghai Street and Soy Street after drinking and entertaining. A woman surnamed Yang (48) is suspected of being drunk and unwell, lying on the street, and her boyfriend is Chen (41). She stepped forward and wanted to help, but unexpectedly the woman was drunk and didn't appreciate it, and she pulled and entangled for a while.
At the right time, a man dressed in black and surnamed Tan (45 years old) passed by, thinking that someone was bullying or intending to assault the female victim. He stepped forward to stop him when he saw righteousness. After a misunderstanding with Chen Nan, the two twisted and fought, and eventually both suffered. His head was battered, and Chen Nan's white shirt turned into a "blood suit", which was quite shocking.
The police arrived at the scene and rushed the two injured and Yang Nv to the hospital.
Tan Nan and Chen Nan were arrested on suspicion of fighting in a public place, and the case was handed over to the Mong Kok District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.
