The functionality does not exist on a smartphone, nor on a tablet.

For taxpayers who have completed a paper return, it is also possible to correct their errors.

All you need to do is complete a new declaration (form n ° 2 042) which you can collect either directly from a public finance center or from the impots.gouv.fr website.

But be careful, you must complete the declaration completely and not just modify the errors.

Finally, before sending it to your tax office, clearly indicate that it is a new declaration.

Almost all of the data can be corrected.

In particular, you can enter new amounts, check or uncheck boxes.

Among the errors that come up frequently, taxpayers who forget to check the box indicating that they do not have a television in one of their homes.

Other current corrections, the amount of alimony, childcare costs, forgetting to declare the income of dependent children or even the declaration, wrongly, of non-deductible expenses.

Please note, if you have made a mistake in indicating your family situation (marriage, PACS, death, etc.), you must submit a paper declaration to your tax office.

This cannot be done online.

Finally, for latecomers who have not corrected their errors before mid-December of this year, there is a catch-up session.

Concretely, after this date, you still have the possibility to file a complaint until December 31, 2022 for the 2020 income statement. Note also that any modification of your income tax return will result in the issuance of a new notice. taxation.
