The altercation took place in a classroom at the Jacques-Prévert vocational high school, in Combs-la-Ville, last Friday.
A student, who violently threw a teacher to the ground preventing her from leaving her class, with a knock on the door, was sentenced to five months in prison with a two-year probationary period by the Melun Criminal Court on Wednesday, according to BFM TV.

The high school student, named Yassine and aged 18, will also be subject to 140 hours of community service, and will have to follow a citizenship course.
In addition, he is covered by an obligation of psychological care linked to an addiction to cannabis, as well as an obligation to train and follow his education.
He is also prohibited from coming into contact with the assaulted professor.
