The techno titans of Scooter transformed the Olympiahalle into a 2000s large-capacity disco on Tuesday evening.

Read our review here:

DJ Picco asks the most important question of the evening even before the actual show begins.

“Who has traveled more than a hundred kilometers to really party today?” asks the promoter, who has been opening Scooter concerts for several years.

Loud roaring from 6000 throats leaves little room for interpretation: most of the visitors in the Olympiahalle have come a long way to celebrate with the techno titans from Hanover this Tuesday evening.

And to clarify the central questions of life: "Which light switch is which?" And of course: "How much is the fish?" HP Baxxter, who has hardly aged despite his 58 years, answer them with wildly twitching flashes of light , lots of pyrotechnics and even more heavy beats.

You can tell from the audience that they have some catching up to do when it comes to celebrating.

In the packed arena, the men rip their shirts off and throw themselves into the pogo.

In the slightly more airy ranks, the fans wriggle no less ecstatically to beats and basses.

They thumped through the arena from the beginning to the end of the almost two-hour show of Scooter's "God save the Rave" tour and carried away everyone with legs to dance.

The band, of whose original formation only frontman Baxxter remains, wants a lyrical claim with songs like “Hyper Hyper”, “Ramp!

(The Logical Song)" or "Maria (I like it loud)" are not enough.

On the other hand, a surprising number of hits contain samples of other well-known pieces.

Perfectly mixed and powerfully called into the cheering crowd by Baxxter's distinctive voice.

The show, in which scantily clad dancers always flank the frontman, and the best-of fired by scooters, result in a wild and also nostalgic mixture, in which you simply have to party like there's no tomorrow.

The band remains true to itself even after almost 30 years: faster, harder, scooter!
