Numerous Telekom customers from Germany reported technical problems on Thursday.

Your complaints on social networks match the statistics on the website AlleStören.de, which users can use to report faults in online services.

At the same time, many users reported problems with Microsoft services such as Office 365, Teams and OneDrive to the portal.

The Twitter account "Telekom helps" responds to inquiries from customers about the problems with the statement: "We are currently receiving a lot of inquiries on the subject. Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about it yet."

In another tweet, Telekom advises private customers to disconnect their router from the power supply for ten minutes in order to solve the problem.

Comments on this tip, however, indicate that the error cannot be fixed this way.

There are many indications that there is a malfunction in the network connection between the Telekom servers and Microsoft's.

However, these assumptions have not yet been confirmed.

The possible cause of this problem is also unclear.

Telekom gives general tips on cellular and landline network disruptions here and here.

The company has not yet responded to a SPIEGEL inquiry about the user complaints.

We will update this article as soon as Deutsche Telekom has commented.
