A barometer conducted by Odoxa for Winamax and RTL following the retirement of Roger Federer shows that the

is the best player in history according to only 28% of French people, which places him behind the one who was his last partner on Friday evening before the bow, Rafael Nadal (34%).
68% of tennis fans also consider that his career would not have been as good without his competition with the Spaniard.
These same tennis fans, on the other hand, place the Swiss at the very top of the olympus of his sport (37%), as do, surprisingly, his fans (46%).
Federer is, in any case, a unifying player: 91% of French people and 97% of tennis fans have a good opinion of him, and the adjectives that come up the most to describe him are "technically gifted", "combative “, “sympathetic”, “elegant” and “close to the public”.
