Open Italy Djokovic Sonego 1-1, the first set is played.
We need Djokovic
Up for grabs is the final of the Italian Open where Rafa Nadal awaits who beat the American Reilly Opelka with a double 6-4.
Nadal, 'last effort now, very positive week'
- "I knew it would be a difficult match, not a nice one to play and that it would be done on his serve. For me it is an important victory, now the last effort is missing". Rafael Nadal says it after the victory in two sets against the American Opelka, in the semifinal of the Italian Open. For the Spaniard it will be the 12th final in Rome, and so far his score, from 2005 to today, is 9 wins and two defeats. "I can hardly believe it - comments the Spaniard -. Life has given me many good moments, on this field I have had many good games and it is nice to be back in the final here". No preference then on the challenge of tomorrow's Djokovic or Sonego. "Lorenzo and Novak are two different players, but I did my job - says Nadal -.It was a very positive week and regardless of who I have in front of me I will play my best tennis. "
