From the racket to the microphone, there is only one step that Richard Gasquet will take, probably during the next fortnight.
The 35-year-old Biterrois, 75th in the world, will indeed join the team of commentators for France 2 during the French Open, as soon as he is eliminated from the singles and doubles tables, where he is associated with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
According to the team, the French tennis player will take part on the set of the Roland-Garros terrace, hosted by Laurent Luyat and will also be on commentary for a few matches.

Excellent news for the former world No. 7 (in 2007), very fit a few days before these French Open since he has just beaten (6-2, 7-6) this Tuesday the world number 2 , the Russian Daniil Medvedev, in the round of 16 of the ATP tournament in Geneva.
This Wednesday also marks the release of his biography, "A reverse and against everything" (Stock Editions), in all bookstores.
Oh !
The biography of Richard Gasquet comes out on May 18!
Another madness that we will devour.
