Nick Kyrgios, who faces Chilean Cristian Garin tomorrow for a place in the semifinals at Wimbledon, has been sued for domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend.
Next month the Australian tennis player will have to answer the charges of his former Chaira Passari, before the judges: in case of conviction she risks up to two years in prison, according to The Canberra Times.
His attorney, Jason Moffett, confirmed that Kyrgios is aware of the complaint.
"Considering the gravity of the accusations, which Mr. Kyrgios evaluates with due seriousness, at this moment he does not think he should make any statements on the matter", the words of the tennis player's lawyer.
