The whole school has been moved, its tables, its chairs, its blackboard and, of course, the teachers and the 56 primary pupils, divided into two classes, registered this year thanks to a grouping with other municipalities. .
Everyone was installed in the village hall of this village of 400 inhabitants, not really intended for that.
As for the playground, it will be fitted out on the basketball court.
Equally unusual, the Montbouton school had to move urgently… because of the neighbors.
As sometimes in small municipal schools, the town hall rented the two apartments in the building, located above the classrooms.
"For more than a year, these neighbors have been living a hell of a life," explains Aoussaf Chernine, Montbouton's first assistant.
Everything goes there, the music very loud during the classes, vomit found in the morning in the corridors of the school, the dogs barking.
There are also teachers or staff who are cursed very harshly.
One of the two school teachers broke down nervously and had to take time off for over a month.
The establishment threatened with permanent closure
“My daughter told me a bit about what was going on in this school,” adds a mother.
For me, there is no question of her staying here under these conditions.
I am already looking for a private establishment in the area.
Even if it means going for miles.
Faced with this situation which it inherited, the new municipality did not remain unresponsive.
Social services have been alerted for many months without any solution being found.
A situation closely observed by the inspector of primary education whose patience seems to have found its limits.
