Practicing the talent of drawing since childhood and displaying her artworks was an incentive for the plastic artist, Janet Al-Aranji, to turn her home into a studio and permanent exhibition.
The artist Al-Aranji, who resides in the city of Salamiyah in the countryside of Hama, explained in an interview with SANA that she practiced drawing at an early age, since she was in the elementary school, and was able to develop and refine her talent by studying at the Art Institute in the field of drawing.
The artist Al-Aranji was distinguished by the style of silhouette, fantasy or silhouette, which is a type of art that depends on the use of black color on a white background to show the outer limits of the shape.
Most of Al-Aranji’s paintings are drawn in charcoal, black and white, and executed in the “silhouette” method, because she sees her closest to herself and the most passionate about her in expressing her talent.
And she indicated that this art is ignorant of many, what formed a motive for her to illuminate it and make it more known, which is drawings and artworks that give an imaginary shape to people, things and subjects, according to the person’s view of the painting and his psychological state. .
The artist Al-Aranji stated that, by virtue of her work in the school theater, she participates annually in exhibitions and artistic activities held in this regard, and the predominantly female nature of her paintings, her suffering, and her spiritual integration with art.
The artist Al-Aranji expressed her hope to support artists like her in all ways by securing the materials for their works, holding exhibitions and introducing them to various governorates and occasions in order to achieve greater spread for them among the public, pointing to the need for parents to focus on the talents of their children and discover them early to support, embrace and develop them to take their way to spread. fame and success.
