A number of poets in Homs revived a poetry evening on the occasion of the anniversary of the October Liberation, which was called by the Association of University Graduates, in the association's garden in the city.

The poet Hassan Ahmed recited the poem "Majdat Nasr Tishreen" and another poem in a flirtatious language for the homeland and the heroism of our army on all fronts.

As for the poet Habis al-Mulhim, he presented his poem about Tishreen and the city of Homs, in which there is a simulation of a poem by the late poet Nizar Qabbani.

The poet Dareen Al-Mahrez recited three of her poems, one sentimental. This is me talking about Syria in a female tongue. As for the sentimental poem entitled Perfume of Qamisi, it blends love for the homeland in a flirtatious manner, while the poem Fire and Water of Love and its contradictions is described using vertical poetry.

The poet Shalash Al-Daher also recited his first poem on Bayader Al-Takhween talking about Tishreen Al-Tahrir, and the second and still the question is a flirtatious poem in which love for the homeland and the beloved were mixed.

As for the poet Habib Nasser, he presented his new poem about Tishreen, in which the heroes of Arabism starred in Sobh Mashreq Khaled, in addition to a lyrical poem entitled Bedouin, while the poet Rifaat Deeb presented his poem about the October Liberation War, entitled The Holy Soil, Our Children for You, which carried the contents of loyalty to the homeland and belonging to the land.

The poem of the poet Ibrahim Al-Hashem, with various contents, came from the battles of our army to purify Palmyra from ISIS terrorists, and another about the heroic Palestinian prisoners who came out of the Gilboa prison camp, and the poem “The Face of Tishreen” through which he regained the exploits written by our brave men on the land of the Golan.

As for the poet Nabil Bakhes, alive, in his poem, a salute to the Tishreen meteors, the heroes of the Syrian Arab army are among the pure martyrs. In a second poem, he called for love to prevail in souls until hearts are purified and peace prevails, in addition to a lyrical poem full of the meanings of love.
