The rescue unit team in the Hama Fire Brigade managed today to retrieve the body of a young man who drowned after falling into the Orontes River at the site of the stone arches near the water fountain.
The commander of the fire brigade, Colonel Thaer Al-Hassan, told SANA reporter that the process of exhuming the body of the young man, Farid Al-Omari, took a few hours, during which the regiment made great efforts to search for it and get it out of the river.
