The President of Tishreen University and a group of administrative cadres at the university participated in the national campaign for early detection of cancer in Lattakia Governorate, with the aim of encouraging all university employees to participate and conduct the necessary examinations.
After conducting the necessary tests today at Tishreen University Hospital, the President of the University, Dr. Bassam Hassan, called on all citizens to conduct these examinations because of their importance in early detection of the disease, and thus ease of treatment in a timely manner and a quick recovery from it, especially that it is completely free, which saves a lot of expenses on citizens.
The university president, his deputies, the university secretary and the deans of the faculties also monitored the work of the hospital departments concerned with taking early detection tests for cancer and how to deal with samples and smears that are taken from the auditors.
