The dollar fell today and lost some of the gains it made on the back of strong US employment data released last Friday.
Reuters reported that the dollar index fell to 106.25, down 0.4 percent on the day, and the Australian dollar recovered after its losses on Friday, rising 0.9 percent on the day to $0.697.
The New Zealand dollar also rose 0.4 percent to $0.627, and the dollar fell against the Japanese currency to 134.945 yen.
Eurozone bond yields fell again after rising in the wake of Friday's employment data.
The euro rose 0.2 percent to 1.02095, and the pound sterling rose 0.4 percent to 1.2118 dollars.
