The draw for the international play-offs for the 2022 World Cup finals has been drawn in Zurich, Switzerland.
According to Sky Sports, the results of the global play-off draw resulted in the qualifier from Asia facing the qualifier from South America and the qualifier from North America against the qualifier from Oceania.
Today, the draw for the European play-off qualifying for the 2022 World Cup was also drawn. The first group placed Scotland against Ukraine and Wales with Austria, the second group included Russia with Poland and Sweden with the Czech Republic, while the third group included Italy with North Macedonia and Portugal with Turkey.
Teams compete in a semi-final and final system of one match, where two matches are held in each group, with the winner qualifying for the final match and the winner ascending to the World Cup.
