The Citizen Service Technology Directorate of the Ministry of Communications and Technology announced that the e-citizen service center will continue to provide its electronic services during the upcoming holidays.
The Director of the Citizen Service Technology Directorate, Eng. Samer Yamani, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the center will provide, during the holidays, the service of granting a passport (from within the country) and summary services for the criminal record “not judged” and the civil registry “output of individual record – marriage statement – birth statement – statement.” Divorce - Death Statement” in addition to the “non-working” state employee registry service, explaining the reason for not receiving the rest of the services during the holiday due to the disruption of the concerned authorities and the related liaison offices, pointing out that the previous services will be available through the postal service only, with the exception of the passport issuance service.
Yamani pointed out that citizens can request their transactions through

or by downloading the “My Transactions” application on the smartphone via

, as the center receives citizens’ complaints on the number 8000 during official working hours.
Yamani indicated that the fees for electronic transactions are paid electronically through banks linked to the “Syrian Electronic Payments” system, namely the Syrian Commercial and Real Estate Bank, Bemo Saudi Fransi Bank, Al Baraka and the International Islamic Bank of Syria and the Levant.
Yamani pointed out that the fees can be paid either through the customer’s bank’s website or through the bank’s electronic application after entering the transaction number whose fees are required to be paid. Payment can also be made through the Syriatel Cash service for Syriatel subscribers or the Mobile Cash service for “MTN” subscribers.
