The evacuation of a number of houses in the Rukn al-Din neighborhood of Damascus due to a landslide

Damascus Governorate evacuated a number of houses in Wadi al-Safira in Rukn al-Din neighborhood due to a landslide, in anticipation of any emergency or another collapse.

The General Supervisor of the Services Complex in Damascus Governorate, Eng. Imad Al-Ali, said in a statement to SANA reporter that after receiving a report about the collapse, the concerned directorates in the governorate and the governorate police department went to the mentioned place and worked with members of the governorate council and the local community to evacuate the houses next to and above the fault line in anticipation of any sudden collapse It can happen in order to ensure the safety of citizens.

Al-Ali indicated that the concerned directorates, in cooperation with engineering experts, revealed on the site in preparation for conducting the blackboards and the appropriate solution methods and preparing the necessary report as soon as possible, noting that the governorate has prepared a suitable place to host those who wish from the people who were evicted from their homes.
