The celebration of the vote of no confidence against President Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board of directors continues, scheduled for November 1 and 2.

This is what the Generalitat dictates, which, however, requires Barça to improve the protocol and take steps to ensure that it is held with the greatest of security, now that there is a new outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic in Catalonia .

This is reflected after the telematic meeting that the Department of Health, Interior and the Secretary General of l'Esport held with Barcelona yesterday.

"The protocols to be followed have been reviewed," they explain in the directive;

"We will continue with technical meetings."

The Generalitat has also requested that the headquarters be expanded throughout Catalan territory, since it understands that the vote of no confidence is a democratic right and, therefore, it should be celebrated.

Until now, the protocol contemplated a decentralized voting plan with 13 locations throughout Catalonia, another seven in the rest of Spain (Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Santiago and Palma de Mallorca) and a final one in Andorra.

And, although it raises blisters in the directive, there are also those who understand that it is the correct measure to finish the process and not lengthen the uncertainty.

Similarly, the club also explains that it does not have too much time to be able to make many changes in the protocol.

With 20,687 validated signatures, well above the 16,520 required, President Bartomeu will meet the board next Monday.

The question they will raise is whether they prefer to face the elections en bloc and defend their management or, on the contrary, they wish to resign in the face of institutional wear and tear and make way for a management commission as happened in 2015.
