For the development of public housing in Longbian, Yuen Long, the government will resume 106 private lands in the vicinity, involving an area of ​​about 4.8 hectares, and will establish easements or other rights on a piece of land involving an area of ​​about 354 square meters.

The Lands Department posts the notice of land resumption and establishment of land in accordance with Article 4 of the Land Resumption Ordinance (Chapter 124) and Articles 14 and 16 of the Road (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance (Chapter 370) Notice of easement or other rights.

The land will be returned to the government three months after the announcement is posted, that is, on October 30 this year, and easements or other rights will be established for the government.

According to the previous government's development plan and geographic information map, the private land involved in the development plan is located in the area of ​​Ping Jian Lane and Ma Feng Ling Road.

The Langbian public housing development plan is divided into phases 1 and 2. The first phase of land involves the interim housing land in front of the Langbian. The government stated that after land resumption and leveling, the land is expected to be handed over to the Housing Authority for housing construction projects in 2024/25.

The two phases of the development plan can provide approximately 12,000 public housing units.
