The price of a gram of gold today, 21 karat, in the local market has decreased by two thousand Syrian pounds from the price of last Saturday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for the Drafting and Jewelery Industry in Damascus, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 156 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 155,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram was a selling price of 133,714 pounds and a purchase price of 133214 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 0991937718-2248005.
