He wore with genius the aura of someone "not from here", a super unique artist who always remains true to his colorful aesthetic
Zvika Pick, the singer, composer and creator whose songs have become an Iron Sheep property, will also be remembered in our hearts as a fashion and style icon.
He is considered one of the greatest Israeli creators and a trailblazer when he brought disco and pop music to the fore, but under his maximalist conditions.
He brilliantly wore the aura of someone "not from here", a super unique artist who always remained true to his colorful aesthetic, did not hesitate to say what was on his mind and sprinkled glam and glitter everywhere.
Pick broke into the Israeli consciousness in the lead role as "Claude" in the daring musical "Hair" in the early 1970s, a role that included frontal nudity and which stunned the audience and the Israeli entertainment world, for which he was also awarded the title of "Actor of the Year".
After that, he also began to receive recognition thanks to the many hits he created, among them "Diva" which he composed for Dana International with which she won Eurovision 1998, "I can't without you", "The Heart" and more, as well as the musical "Mary Lou"
which was staged in 2002 at the Bhima Theater which is based on his poems.
In 2011 he received the Acomm Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Pick paved the way for many other artists who dared to blur genders and boundaries
As a signatory to countless high-profile comebacks, to which he always appeared with his iconic long wavy hair and small oval sunglasses, these formed the basis for extravagant glam performances that the maestro created and maintained as only he knew how - with the velvet, fur and sequins, the tight pants, and always some blazer on top which closes the performance and oozes grandeur.
Make-up was not taboo for him either.
As an inspiring culture and fashion icon, and as a true showman, Pick paved the way for many other artists who dared to blur genders and boundaries.
Pick was one of the first in the Israeli swamp at that time, of the cheerful eighties, to experiment with androgynous fashion, one that refers to wearing clothes and accessories without creating a distinction between gender identities, and for episodes he even echoed the rock-glam style of the legendary David Bowie.

Peek has maintained the flashy, larger-than-life style that has become almost fanatically identified with him over the years
As for the evolution of the eternally colorful pop star's style, Peak has maintained the flashy, larger-than-life style he's become almost fanatically identified with over the years.
In the seventies, under the auspices of his daring role in the musical "Hair", Peak's looks were mainly characterized by a hippie vibe - with exaggerated pedalo pants, tight tank tops and ribbons in his hair, with a face that was still free of make-up and wavy hair groomed to glory.
In the 1980s, it was already noticeable that the rising star devoted himself to the aesthetics that prevailed at that time, and was often seen in leather jackets or tight jeans, wore a variety of spotted prints or other varieties and also began to wear make-up, on and off stage.
In the decades since, Peake has been seen in public appearances mostly letting interesting blazers or jackets in bursting and unapologetic colors set the tone of the performance he wore.
A lot of shiny black stan was there too, and that long hair he let turn gray.
All of these faithfully served the pompous persona that would be strengthened by genius throughout the decades, which was always surrounded by a hint of mystery and distance from the hypnotists that no one remained indifferent to.

Peak was the most not "from here", yet the most ours.
