"Today we are obliged to show more than ever that those of us who work, work seriously,
how we can be carried forward in this way
. Please reflect and act correctly."
The words, said with emphasis, belong to the Lavagnista deputy
Jorge Sarghini
and were part of a harsh speech that ended up twisting the course of a scandalous session in deputies that led to the resignation of Kirchnerist Juan Emilio Ameri.
There are less than ten minutes to three in the morning and the deputies had just voted on the bill that prohibits granting financial aid to companies domiciled in tax havens.
Sarghini, from Federal Consensus, was one of those who accompanied the measure, but an unconsulted modification introduced by the ruling party led him to change the direction of his vote, and his presentation to argue that decision triggered a similar reaction from other deputies.
"It is difficult for me to explain why I had to change the direction of my vote, I have been surprised in my good faith as well as I believe that many deputies have been surprised in their good faith", questioned Sarghini, and launched: "It is inconceivable that a project with unanimity, with absolute consensus, without debate, minutes before voting, change it, add it because
someone from the ruling party has asked to add it and not even analyze
it ”.
That someone was the deputy of the Frente de Todos, Carlos Heller.
Sarghini was raising the tone of his speech and questioned: "Are we de palo? We are deputies and we are representing a part of society and we must be consulted. We can agree or not, but in no way can they do what they did. ".
The ruling deputy Carlos Heller was the one who introduced the modification that outraged Sarghini.

"Today we are obliged to demonstrate more than ever that those of us who work, work seriously, how we can be carried forward in this way: Please reflect and act correctly.
What you have done is an embarrassment
. How can you incorporate this way about the end, "he insisted.
Sarghini's criticism of the ruling party continued, and he pointed out against the president of the lower house, Sergio Massa: "They are managing the parliamentary debate that does not deserve to be done in times of so much uncertainty and so many problems for the country. We have to demonstrate a stature that his leadership today (to Massa) and his block have not shown ".
All the deputies listened carefully to Sarghini's speech and several legislators asked to speak later and joined the list of those who changed their vote.
Finally, the bill, which had been approved by 131 affirmative votes, 3 negative and 101 abstentions, was returned to the Budget Committee so that the ruling party could better explain the changes proposed today during the session when the debate was already advancing.
