Iraqi Interior Minister Othman Al-Ghanimi called today to support all steps that strengthen the law in the city of Kirkuk and confront terrorism and organized crime gangs, after the city was recently attacked by terrorists.
The Iraqi news agency INA quoted the media office of the Ministry of Interior as saying that the Minister Al-Ghanimi, who visited the province, confirmed that "the security of the Iraqi citizen and Kirkuk is a red line and we are keen to establish security and stability throughout the cities of Iraq."
Kirkuk was recently subjected to attacks by "ISIS" terrorists, targeting Iraqi forces that continue their operations to pursue ISIS remnants in various Iraqi regions and cities.
