The some 1950 agents attached to the General Directorate of Labor (DGT) carried out nearly 132,000 control and prevention actions in the first half of the year, more than a third of which related to occupational health and safety issues.
That is almost half of the objective of the 300,000 interventions targeted in 2021.

16,231 on the prevention of falls from a height, which caused 16 fatal accidents in the first half of the year, and 6,948 on compliance with regulations against asbestos-related risks.
