With the participation of 58 local companies and the presence of Arab delegations, the International Exhibition for Beauty and Body Care opened this evening under the title “Beauty World Exhibition” on the grounds of the fairgrounds in Damascus.

The exhibition, which will continue until the 17th of this month, includes the latest medical and commercial cosmetics and supplies, such as plastic containers, packaging machines, cosmetic clinics and training centers.

In a statement to reporters after the opening of the exhibition, a member of the board of directors of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, Muhyiddin Arab Al-Halabi, explained that most of the companies participating in the exhibition are newly established and launched during the years of the war on Syria and were able to prove themselves and offer their products with Syrian and natural raw materials, pointing to the importance of supporting the Syrian cosmetic industries, which contributes to dispense with imported products.

In turn, the treasurer of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry and a member of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, Ayman Mawlawi, emphasized the need to continue holding specialized exhibitions so that there would be an opportunity to open export markets soon, pointing out that there are various companies, most of them with natural materials that show the quality of Syrian products.

The commercial attaché at the Yemeni embassy in Damascus, Muhammad Hamid Omar, indicated that the exhibition brought together many Syrian factories that are distinguished in their production and constitute a strong competitor for the products of neighboring countries and the world, pointing out that he will convey the image of what he saw in the exhibition to Yemeni industrialists and those interested in the manufacture of cosmetics.

The director of the “Armada” company organizing the exhibition, Ahmed Al-Mady, pointed out that the exhibition aims to introduce the public to the Syrian companies in the field of cosmetics and their latest products, in addition to the export goal of their products, indicating that the exhibition is the first of its kind in Syria.

In interviews with SANA, Ghazal Al-Zuhaili, the executive director of a beauty center, pointed out the importance of participating in such specialized exhibitions to get to know the participating companies, exchange experiences, and avoid importing foreign raw materials that are used in the production of cosmetics, using Syrian raw materials, which contributes to the prosperity of the Syrian economy.

For her part, Shatha Idris, from a cosmetic company, indicated that she displays a range of skin care and cosmetics made with national raw materials, considering that the exhibition is an opportunity to export their products abroad, especially since there are delegations from Arab countries visiting the exhibition.

In turn, Majd Hassan, Marketing Manager of a company specialized in the production of essential oils and water extracts in Qalamoun, said: We display in our booth all the products of our laboratory, which include several products, including the Damascene rose oil, which is classified as one of the rare oils in the world, as well as the useful Damascene rose water, as well as the oils of mint, oregano, lavender and rosemary. Noting that all these products are 100% natural and free of alcohol, preservatives and colorings, and they attract many visitors and interested people.

Dr. Muhammad Alaa Al-Tair “specialist in orthodontics and jaws” pointed out that our goal is to introduce our company specialized in transparent orthodontics, which is one of the modern technologies in the treatment of dental misalignment and depends on thin and transparent plastic sheets that can be placed and removed simply by the patient, indicating that the latest computer systems are used. Dimensions in the world through an expert team in cooperation with specialized doctors to prepare the most appropriate treatment program for each patient’s case and to reach an ideal dental alignment.

The exhibition receives visitors daily from four thirty in the afternoon until eleven at night.
