British press reports revealed the latest developments in the renewal of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's contract with Liverpool Football Club.
According to Sky Sports, Salah and the club are now talking about a new contract, noting that no agreement has been reached between the two parties and the talks between them have not reached the final stages yet.
Salah's contract with Liverpool expires after two seasons in June 2023, and there is an intention, according to British reports, in the past months, to renew it by the English club.
The Liverpool striker joined the Reds in 2017 from Roma, Italy, for 42 million euros, and scored 125 goals and 47 assists in 203 matches in the club's shirt. Salah also won the European Champions League, European Super Cup, Club World Cup and the English Premier League title with the Reds.
