Will Samsung keep the design line of the Galaxy S series?

The leaks of a preliminary design revealed by the serial smartphone leaker OnLeaks may disappoint the fans of the South Korean technology giant, since according to the publication, Samsung is expected to reveal only a slight design change in the mid-range models, with the integration of elements from the Ultra model.

According to the publication, the design of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will be the same as the Galaxy Ultra S22 model, when the dedicated area for the lenses will be precisely cut according to their shape instead of a metal coating that merges with the frame of the device.

However, Samsung's premium model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, is expected to retain the existing design.

Also, according to the leak, it can be seen that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with a convex screen (probably 6.8 inches in size), and there is no reason to think that it will not be an AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate, similar to the models marketed today.

The intermediate models will come with screens of the same size - 6.1 inches and 6.6 inches respectively, but will combine slightly different dimensions.

In contrast, the screen of the two is expected to be flat and not convex.

Samsung's announcement event is expected to take place in early 2023, most likely around January.

At the moment this is only a possible design based on leaks, but if this is what the lens area will look like in reality, then this is an extremely minor design change.

It will also be interesting to see if Samsung will follow Apple's lead and try to make the notch, in a "hole" configuration, dynamic.
