The leadership of the Lebanese army held the Israeli enemy responsible for the consequences of its aggression yesterday and at dawn today on southern Lebanon and changed the rules of engagement, calling on the international community and the United Nations to exert maximum pressure on it in order to curb its hostile practices.

The Lebanese Army Command indicated in a statement that the meeting, which was held in Naqoura today, touched upon the Israeli aggression, which was interspersed with artillery fire and air raids targeting Lebanese lands yesterday and at dawn today. Wadi Majdal in Koura, as a result of these attacks, is a clear violation of Lebanese sovereignty.

The Lebanese side denounced the recent high frequency of attacks on Lebanese shepherds and condemned the enemy's continuous violations of Lebanese sovereignty by land, sea and air, reiterating its commitment to UN resolutions, especially Resolution 1701 and all its inclusions.

The Lebanese side stressed the need for the Israeli enemy to withdraw from all the occupied lands, including the area adjacent to the north of the Blue Line, Shebaa Farms, the Kfar Shuba Hills, the northern part of the Ghajar area, the occupied Bei Wahid area, and the new seventeen points, which were considered a permanent breach.
