According to the authorities, citizens can walk from the Admiralty MTR station via Tamar Park, or from the Central Ferry Pier or Wan Chai Ferry Pier to the Wan Chai Promenade in about 8 to 10 minutes.

The Wan Chai Waterfront Promenade was developed with the concept of “connect first, then optimize”. The 560-meter-long and 6-meter-wide seafront section was first opened in October 2019, linking Central and Wan Chai’s waterfront, forming the longest 5.5 kilometers in Hong Kong.
