The new Zayeg series, the artist Hossam Tahsin Bey, is writing for drama

After the presentation of the Al-Kandoush series, which was the first work of the artist Hossam Tahsin Bey in writing for drama, he recently completed writing a new series of the Levantine Environment style and bears a comic character under the title “Al-Zayeg”.

Tahseen Bey said in a statement to SANA that he seeks, through this work, to present a new proposal that combines drama and comedy in the form of the work of the Levantine environment and deals with the phenomenon of the marriage of an old man to a young girl in the prime of her life, as they suffer from their differences and divergence in the field of awareness, maturity and interests.

Tahseen Bey, who started writing this work several years ago and stopped writing due to different circumstances, explained that the series consists of 45 episodes and that he chose this title for him as a metaphor for the man who never stops pursuing women.

Tahseen Bey indicated that he had also finished writing a comedy decathlon for an Arab production company, denying that he had limited his activity to writing only, but he preferred to participate in short or medium-length dramas of decathlons, sevens and threes, describing it as a good idea because it is the favorite of the social media audience and dominates On television in terms of high follow-up, speed of production and spread at lower costs.
