A southwest monsoon will continue to bring showers and thunderstorms to Hong Kong in the next one or two days.

The Observatory expects that with the intensification of the high-altitude anticyclone later this week, the weather in Hong Kong will gradually improve by then. The sun will usher in the fastest Friday (8th), and the weather will turn from hot to very hot at the beginning of next week. It is expected that the market will be on next Monday (11th). Hong Kong will continue to be cloudy today (5th), the Observatory said that it will be mostly cloudy today with a few showers, and there will be thunderstorms in some areas in the afternoon.

As for Tropical Storm Avery, it has weakened into a tropical depression.

Observatory expected to turn sweltering heat early next week

The Observatory predicts that the southwest monsoon will bring showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea in the next one or two days. Hong Kong will be mostly cloudy in the next two days, with occasional showers and thunderstorms, and will continue until Thursday (7th, 20th). "Little Heat" in the four solar terms).

As the high-altitude anticyclone intensified later this week, the weather in Hong Kong gradually improved, and the sun will be able to return as soon as Friday (8th).
